Talent is equally distributed; Opportunity is not. Together, we can create greater opportunities for our talented and driven young people by removing barriers and increasing access to and success in college.

Partnership Opportunities

The Midnight Golf Program maintains college partnerships and relationships with colleges and universities around the country. We seek partnerships with colleges and universities to help our young people to consider a variety of schools. This can include scholarships, in-state tuition, and other discounts and benefits. College partners have opportunities to meet our students at college fairs and during life-skills training.

These relationships are based, in part, on the high-quality students and support MGP provides students during their college careers.

For more information about partnering with the Midnight Golf Program, contact Winston Coffee, College Success Coach and College Liaison.

College Success Program

MGP believes it’s not enough to get our students to college. The College Success Program, which was implemented in 2018, ensures that MGP students have the resources and guidance they need to earn degrees. We have three dedicated, full-time College Success Coaches who track our students through postsecondary education. The coaches make a great impact by completing a minimum of two one-on-one meetings with 100%of our students and hosting Success Saturday events and college fairs.

MGP College Fair

The goal of the annual College Fair is to encourage MGP students to learn about the participating institutions, understand the application process (many students even were able to submit applications AND GAIN ACCEPTANCE on the spot), and gain access to exclusive scholarship and financial aid opportunities necessary to make their dreams a reality.

At the November 2022 College Fair, 200 MGP scholars had the chance to meet with 50 colleges and universities from Michigan and across the United States. Students were awarded $3.7 million dollars in scholarships during the event.
