My time at Delaware State, exemplified by the presence of my mentor Mr. Coffee, who now stands as a proud Hornet, underscores the significance of MGP’s influence. The direct connection forged by MGP with Delaware State and the advocates supporting me has been truly exceptional. Among the myriad lessons imparted by MGP, the one that resonates most profoundly is the importance of speaking up. It wasn’t a skill that came naturally to me, but through their guidance, I developed the ability to do so effectively. I am grateful to them for instilling in me that drive. Through numerous golf outings and trips with MGP, I’ve always felt a deep-seated urge to give back, especially to the community that has supported and uplifted countless students like myself.
